Melanie Gandyra

Melanie Gandyra is a freelance illustrator and artist from Hamburg, Germany based in Innsbruck, Austria. She completed her bachelor‘s and master‘s degrees in illustration at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, where she also taught. The main focus of her work is editorial, infographic and informative illustration. Next to her work on paper she realizes murals, window displays and sculptures.
She worked for clients like Patagonia, Greenpeace and Bloom Magazine, as well as published books with Quarto, Frances Lincoln, Rowohlt and Chronicle Books. Shortlisted several times for the World Illustration Award, she won gold at the Global Illustration Award for informative illustration.

Melanie is one of the founders of Underbridge Festival Innsbruck/Hamburg and on the board of Wei sraum Designforum Innsbruck. Her work was exhibited in London,
Los Angeles, Hamburg and Peking.
As the inner compass of her art, Melanie Gandyra have made it her mission to draw attention to the environment, changing climate and its consequences. It‘s hard to protect what you don‘t understand. However, if we do not hurry to understand, there will be nothing left worth protecting.

Her work is about finding new solutions to the environmental state of our planet. Creative problem-solving can initiate an awareness that can go beyond simply understanding
scientific facts and hopefully allow us to overcome our current state of shock and thereby
initiate actions to protect nature.
HNRX
HNRX, born in 1993 in Innsbruck, is an aspiring artist with main hubs in Innsbruck and Hamburg. His artistic journey spans across various cities, including Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Bern, Hamburg, and London.
This geographical diversity is reflected in HNRX works, which showcase a rich blend of influences and perspectives. His passion for painting manifests both in urban spaces and through studio works, skillfully navigating the intersection between graphic design and fine art.

HNRX work present a fusion of styles and techniques influenced by Urban Art wiith a wide spectrum of creative expressions. He has already realized exhibitions and projects in several renowned cities as Florence, Cologne, Leipzig, Innsbruck, Vienna , Munich, Zürich, Hamburg, Berlin ......

His style is characterized by the fusion of clear graphic elements and a powerful color palette. His contribution to the art scene not only reflects his artistic versatility but also my commitment to exploring new forms of expression in urban art.
Additionally, through the Urban-Art Festival "Underbridge" founded in 2018, held annually in Innsbruck and Hamburg, an important cultural event has emerged in the respective cities, showcasing many international artists.

HNRX artistic development is shaped by diverse working methods. His journey from the roots of graffiti to contemporary expressions not only demonstrates his skills as an artist but also my willingness to creatively evolve.
